Hi!

My name is Tanita. I’m a lawyer turned audio reporter and award-winning documentary filmmaker based in New York City.

I produce stories that document, challenge and seek meaning of otherwise overlooked ideas around the world. My stories have been featured at Campside Media, The MET Museum in New York City, Foreign Policy Magazine, In-depth Creative, and more. With a passion for international stories and affairs, my strength is in my curiosity and ability to turn meticulous research into captivating narratives.

My stories have also been used as teaching materials at Harvard’s Southeast Asian Studies. I’m an alumni of UnionDocs CoLab fellowship 2021-2022 and part of AIR’s 2023 New Voices.
